Since our first days, Python has been the central Technology. The object oriented and platform independent programming language inspires us because writing, testing and service software written in python is very effectively.

Furthermore, python is brilliant in its manifoldness of special solutions, like database adapters, client/server systems, image manipulation, which we use in special cases.

Zope

Beeing Python experts, the step further to develop web-based applications with the web application server zope has been a logical effect.

From begin on we commit to the community, develop additional products and help to fix bugs.

Both the flexibility of Zope, based on its open architecture, and the possibility to participate in the core development, are leading to a huge gap against commercial products.

Plone

Plone has been established for all kinds of Content Management Systems, as well as portals and intranets. A huge amount of additional products widens the range of utilisability and helps to integrate third party applications very easy, reliable and resource-saving.

We try to commit the knowledge we gain back to the community while working with Plone. In the most cases we do this in terms of quality addons. The best example is our workflow-enging "AlphaFlow" which has been developed by us as an alternative to the existent workflow engines.

XML

Whether configuration, syndication or communication: XML is mostly the best solution as an information carrier, because in a heterogeneous environment it is more usable than proprietary formats by many applications.
